The task

You just got back from a (real or imaginary) long weekend. Write to your pen pal about it, and tell them your summer plans. Include:

• Where you went, with whom, what you did, and what the weather was like — in the past (passé composé + imparfait)
• Your summer plans (futur proche: je vais…)
• At least 10 hearty sentences (detailed, not "Je suis allée en Floride.")
• One thing you did NOT do and one you're NOT going to do
• At least 2 DR MRS VANDERTRAMP verbs · transition words (d'abord, ensuite, puis, enfin)
• 2 questions for your pen pal · use c'était + adjectif
